Explanation To Books Death Note, Vol. 12: Finis (Death Note #12)

I cannot believe that this is it...

I'll miss my apple-eating Shinigami.

description

I cannot believe that this is it.

I cannot say much about this one because the first twenty pages killed me.

This series gave me so many great characters to love. I had to love Kira even though he is the villain and mass murderer. I love Misa (not only because she's my namesake) but because she was who she was. She was the girl who loved a boy who did not love her back and only used her. She lived blissful life thinking he loved her back. And she was a ball of energy which was hard to control!
I loved Mello because he was neither the good guy nor a bad guy. He only wanted to be better than Near, and in the end, he was because he became the last key to succeeding.
I loved Matt who was hardly there and yet I had to love him and wish there was more of him. I still hope that Matt and Mello would get their own series.

I knew this would happen and Ryuk said it right away that he would do it.

And yet here I have to say something about one theory. (view spoiler)[What if Near used the Death Note. What if when he got the real one, he wrote down that Mikami would come and do what he did and not suspect that his Death Note is fake and then commit suicide. It is very possible. Or maybe I just don't want Near to win this easily. I can agree that Light might have missed this possibility and he was supposed to lose. But still... This is not how it ends in my mind. (hide spoiler)]

And I have to wonder how different it would be if Ryuk was more like Rem or if Rem was alive?

Judge Out Of Books Death Note, Vol. 12: Finis (Death Note #12)
Five stars for the moral .Five stars for the excitement I felt.Five stars for the smartness.I loved this series so much. It's the end and I enjoyed every bit of it .

Well.... that ended.

So this is pretty much a review of the entire series.I must say I LOVED it. I can say that the 8-11 where kinda slow but it was just building up for the last book which was probably my favorite out of the entire series. I love Matsuda and L, they where probably my favorites. I kinda fell like I lost part of myself after reading this. I fell empty. I miss reading it lol. I kinda wish I could have seen the mom, sister, and Misas reactions to Light being Kira, I fell like that woulda been cool. It

After reading Vol11, it was difficult to hold back. Hence I plunged and zoomed past the final Volume in a single sitting.Glad it did not disappoint. Overall the full series is excellent. What I Loved:1. L!2. Loads of plot twists - sometimes on the brink of a disadvantage due to way too many of them!3. Game of Chess - the ongoing mental tussle was brilliant throughout. This is the part I loved most.4. The art, expressions, character build up, thought process, counter thoughts, you name it - DN has

A good series--but I fundamentally disagreed with the choice to go past the 2/3 mark. Momentum was lost--and so many additional complications were added that a proportionate amount of explainey bits began to overwhelm the panels and the characters.Great art. Wonderful characters. Gripping plot. Just went on too long.

THIS SERIES.why why why why.Genius stuff there, but... wow. Wow.(view spoiler)[ Seeing Misa at the end was absolutely just... heart-breaking. And I don't even like her.Light's death? I can hardly explain how much I hate Light. I mean hate him. He is the biggest bastard I've ever come across in a series, but I still found myself crying at his death just because I forgot how innocent he used to be. It was almost as if Kira took over him. But it obviously was him.I loved how Near simply pointed out
