Chronicle Concering Books The Demigod Diaries (The Heroes of Olympus #Companion)
What dangers do runaway demigods Luke and Thalia face on their way to Camp Half-Blood? Are Percy and Annabeth up to the task of rescuing stolen goods from a fire-breathing giant who doesn't take kindly to intruders? How exactly are Leo, Piper, and Jason supposed to find a runaway table, dodge a band of party-loving Maenads (who just might be a little psychotic), and stave off a massive explosion...all in one hour or less? With his trademark wit and creativity, Rick Riordan answers these questions and more in three never-before-seen short stories that provide vital back-story to the Heroes of Olympus and Percy Jackson books. Original art, enlightening character interviews and profiles, puzzles, and a quiz add to the fun in this action-packed collection.Be Specific About Books Toward The Demigod Diaries (The Heroes of Olympus #Companion)

The Demigod Diaries, like The Demigod Files, serves as an interlude between two of Rick Riordan's books in the main series. While all the stories in the Files all happen during the summer between The Battle of the Labyrinth and The Last Olympian, the four stories in this book all happen at different times, which I found helped me understand and become more involved in the Percy Jackson universe. The Diary of Luke Castellan was a really interesting read for me. It's interesting to see Luke as the
Sadly, I can't say this was as good as the Files. Probably because there weren't as many interviews. Those were hilarious. The stories were good--Haley Riordan's was great.
Obviously, only for hardcore fans of Riordan's Greek and Roman demigods. I liked it more than the similar The Demigod Files, though there's nothing here that made me quite as happy as Bob the Titan had. There are four stories here, each told from a different perspective. First, one of Luke and Thalia's adventures from their days on the run, before they met Annabeth. Luke's voice is distinct enough from Percy's, in no small part because of how bitter he already was. Next, Percy and Annabeth
