Her mother ships her off to Shadow Falls—a camp for troubled teens, but it soon becomes clear that the kids at Shadow Falls are far from ordinary. They’re supernatural—learning to harness their powers, control their magic and live in the normal world. Both Derek and Lucas couldn’t be more different, but they both have a powerful hold on her heart. As Kylie struggles to make sense of her feelings and her new abilities, the dark side of the supernatural world emerges and makes life a whole lot harder. An evil enemy lurking in the shadows is about to threaten everything she holds dear…and bring her closer to her destiny.

I just finished this book recently and I can say that I did enjoy it!I love the concept of a summer camp for supernaturals, and characters like Della, Holiday and so many others are easily likeable. It was a good storyline that I could follow easily, and everything made sense. My only issue with this book was the writing flow. It was choppy at times, and I found myself having to go back and reread things to make sure I was reading them correctly. But other than that, I have no complaints aboutSource: I own a a copy of this book but it will be donated.Note: These are my personal opinions. I received no out side person comments or opinions.I got 1/4 the way through the first book in this two in one book. I wanted so badly to like the book and this series. I've seen and read great reviews about this series and the spin off.I knew full well going in that the MC was a bit unlikable in the first two books and that it does get better but I just couldn't bring myself to read it. Not when the
Kylie went to a 2-month summer camp and found herself actually somehow supernatural. She was trying to figure out what she was. And she also needed to deal with a hell lot of dramas that happened to her.I picked up this book was because...well...I have this 2016 summer reading list. I was suppose to start reading this book yesterday. I read YA supernatural. I love Cassandra Clare's books. However, I guess I am affected by The Mortal Instrument series a little too deep. I hate faes. Okay, let's

i love it I liked how i caould go straight to the next book without haveing too weight for it. i cant weight for the next book so i can finish the serise.
I love this book, absolutely everything about it. The characters are so well developed, the plot is amazing, the author describes everything perfectly. You know how you binge watch a show? I binged this book. Its an excellent book and I cant wait to read the rest of the series.
Is no one going to acknowledge the spelling errors in this book? From missing words to sentence fragments, I felt like I was reading a high school book report. The grammatical errors were very distracting from the story, It's bad when I have to stop in the middle of reading to determine what the sentence actually means, because there is a word or two missing. "'Where are you going?" Holiday asked. Kylie looked back her." (50). Kylie looked back her? That isn't even something you can easily
