It goes back and forth between the past and present, showing how Hudson became the man we met in the first book. His quest to understandHudson was not only a wonderful continuation to the Fixed series, but it was Laurelin Paige's best book to date for me. This was definitely not simply a retelling of the first three books from Hudson's perspective. This book stood on its own as fresh and unique. It gave so much incredible insight into Hudson's past and his motivations, actions, and feelings when it came to Alayna. What a crazy ride!I don't know how this book and The Fixed Series hasn't gotten more attention. For me, this rates right up there with 50 Shades, Up in the Air, Crossfire and Driven series! Hudson is by far the best "his" version than any of the other series. I can't wait to read more from this author!

Omg this man is just amazing!!! I m actually kicking myself for forgetting I hadn't read this book. But I'm actually delighted I got to read more of these characters. I luvd this series so much and now getting into Hudson's head was even better. Finding out what Hudson had gone through with the bitch Celia was great she is like a bad smell she just doesn't go away even after what he had done to her.
