This was the most male gaze bullshit thing i have ever read. and yet, when all was said and done, i couldnt stop reading. Wack.ehwmagawd the secret room can not fall out out of the PC's hands
This book starts right where the last left off; in the secret room. Skye and the other DSL Daters play a trick on the girls before showing the Pretty Committee a secret of the room that could change their social lives and understand boys in Briarwood to the fullest. The Pretty Committee gets an automatic invite to Skye's "Famous Couples" party, but if they fail to come with dates, their reputations would be at stake. I am reading this book because my 13-year-old sister is interested in these Clique novels. I am so disappointed in this book-it's all about brands, boys, and bratiness. I'm hoping there is some redeeming lesson at the end, but I don't have a good feeling...
This book was pretty good. I liked the drama that Massie and the Pretty Committee had to face. What totally surprised me was at the end when the pipe burst at Briarwood and the school collapsed. Now the boys are going to be going to OCD. Massie is scared that they will be the 8th grade alphas and the Pretty Committee will be LBRs.
