Angels' Dance | Galen and Jessamy - 5 starsA great example of why Nalini Singh writes the best novellas, and one of my favorite stories in her Guild Hunter world.Apart from the heartwarming romance, a key moment in Raphael's ascension to power and the early days of the yet to be Seven. Also, we get to see the beginning of Illium and his human's short-lived love affair from a third party. Jessamy's softness and fragility is such a stark contrast to Elena's warrior personality. Rating: 4 1/2 starsEvery story is a gem, especially Angels Dance -featuring Jessamy --"angel-cougar", historian and scholar extraordinaire--and Galen--"angel-cub", weapons master and ultimate hero hottie--which concludes the anthology. My second favorite is Angels Judgement which introduces' Elena's bestie, Sara, and the man of her dreams --and later bae and baby daddy--Deacon, aka The Slayer. Angels Wolf was my least fav, no doubt because of the pairing (Noel and ruling angel, Nimra). As

This is not my first book of the series that I have read. It is actually the third. I have read Angels Blood and Angels Kiss and enjoyed them very much. 3.5⭐ OverallFull transparency, I don't normally like short stories. So take my ratings with a grain of salt. I like the idea of short stories, but I find they tend to move too quickly for my taste. Which is definitely a me thing and not the books thing. 1. Angels' Dance ⭐ ⭐ ⭐.5This is Jessamy and Galen's romance and overall I thought this was sweet. I will say in general I didn't care that much about these side characters. There are definitely side characters I'm itching to get a book about
Anthology Rating: 4 StarsAngels Flight is an anthology that is considered to be part of Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series. This collection of stories takes place in an alternate world where angels, vampires, and humans live alongside one another with angels being the rulers. Each novella takes place at a different time within the series, but they can all be read as stand-alones. Nalini Singh is an expert at figuring out what stories work for shorter page lengths and that is evident in this
Im thinking this was a good way to get to know so many side characters in the series. With each short story focused on mainly two of the side characters at a time, they are more solidified in my mind as I get ready to start book one. I think Ill re-read this after reading the series to see if I view it differently.
